'Pick Day' with sunny skies, high 70's in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - Thursday could be the kind of day to have lunch outisde the office, a day at the beach with the kids or any kind of ideal outdoor activity.
"Another dry day in southeast Wisconsin with mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures around 75 degrees in Milwaukee and 80s inland," said Storm Team 4Caster Jesse Ritka, who calls this day a "pick day."
"It won't be as cool by Lake Michigan as Wednesday because the wind will have a more southerly direction to it today though it will be a bit breezy at times."
After a night of seasonal conditions and a few clouds, a chance of rain could finally lead to an end of the extended dry conditions we've seen around here.
"A warm front moves in on Friday, increasing the humidity as well as our highs with 80s anticipated," explains Jesse.
"It will be another day with mostly sunny skies but there is a slight chance the warm front may fire off a few isolated showers or even a thunderstorm but not everyone will see the much needed rain."
More humid weather with more opportunities for rain is expected to come over the weekend and afterward.
"Saturday will be almost a repeat forecast of Friday with warm and slightly muggy conditions. The majority of the day will be dry with sunshine but again there is a slight chance for a few spotty showers or a T'storm to develop. There is a slightly better chance for rain Sunday but the best chance for accumulating showers is Monday evening. Rain chances may continue even through Wednesday as temperatures fall back into the upper 70s by midweek."
