MILWAUKEE - Three teenagers have been shot -- apparently in the middle of the street near N. 40th and W. Garfield Ave. around noon Wednesday.

Milwaukee police say the three teens, 17, 18 and 19 are all male and expected to survive.

Witnesses claim to have heard about 25-30 gunshots from high power weapons for nearly 10 minutes.

TODAY'S TMJ4 reports that at least two gunman opened fire near that north side intersection as several people were outside at the time.

The three victims were shot in the hand, leg and buttocks; it is unclear if those teens were intended targets or random bystanders.  TODAY'S TMJ4 was told those victims were unarmed.

"The bullets came into my living room," said neighbor Marilyn Jones.  Jones said she found one victim lying in the street and saw the other two run to a mailman for help, then go into a nearby home.

No one was in custody as of Wednesday evening.
