MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police say that a man was in critical condition Tuesday morning at Froedtert Hospital after a shooting on the city's north side.
The shooting happened at about 11:10 p.m. Monday night at the corner of North 39th and West Galena Streets.
Someone shot the victim, who is 24, in the right eye. Police say he was expected to survive.
Investigators continued to look into the shooting.
A Milwaukee Police captain did not initially reveal details about whether they made any arrests.
