Allen-Bradley clock stopped at 6:30 for facade work
MILWAUKEE- The Allen-Bradley clock is stuck at 6:30 on purpose.
Rockwell Automation plans to celebrate the clock's 50th anniversary on October 31.
They've stopped the clock so they can do some work on the clock tower's facade -- updating and cleaning it for the occasion.
The clock was finished in 1962 and is the largest four-faced clock in North America.
It was the largest four-faced clock in the world until two years ago, when a new clock in Saudi Arabia took the honor.
Even with the repair work, the stuck clock will be right twice a day.
