MILWAUKEE- As Milwaukee Mayor Barrett thanked his supporters at the downtown Hilton, one woman decided to show the mayor what she thought about the loss.
A woman walked up to Mayor Barrett, reportedly asked the mayor if she would get arrested if she slapped him -- he said no and then she slapped him.
"She was frustrated. I think she thought people were still voting," said Mayor Barrett, wanting to move on from this. "I understand people are frustrated a lot of emotions on both sides
This slap has become viral. "I haven't been paying much too it so i don't know how much attention it's been getting (laughter)," said Barrett.
Security eventually escorted the woman out of the hotel.
