Packers add safety Micah Pellerin, waive receiver Marcus Rivers

GREEN BAY- The Green Bay Packers have picked up safety Micah Pellerin from the Indianapolis Colts and have waived wide receiver Marcus Rivers.  The announcement was made by General Manager Ted Thompson Friday afternoon. 

Pellerin played at Hampton University before being signed as a non-drafted free agent with the Colts. He stands at six feet and weighs 195-pounds. He earned first-team All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference honors in 2011. He led the conference with 19 passes defensed and finished second in the MEAC with four interceptions. 

Rivers played for the University at Buffalo and signed with the Packers as a non-drafted free agent on May 4.
