Woman dead, man injured after Brookfield crash

BROOKFIELD - Brookfield Police says that a woman has died after a two-vehicle head-on crash in that city.
Flight for Life took a 30-year-old man to Froedtert Hospital with life-threatening injuries after the collision.
The crash happened at about 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night on West North Avenue near North Hollycock Lane.
Police say that the woman, who was 69, was driving her van east on North Avenue when a car going westbound went over the center line and struck her van head-on.
The 30-year-old man was driving the car.
The woman died at about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday night after being transported to Froedtert Hospital.
Investigators were looking into the cause of the crash.
