Suspicious device prompts evacuation of Waukesha nature center

WAUKESHA - The Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha was evacuated Tuesday after a worker found a suspicious device near some dumpsters.

"At about noon today, a worker noticed a suspicious device near some dumpsters adjacent to one of the buildings," said Waukesha Sheriff's Detective Steve Pederson.  "Obviously erring on the side of caution, the Sheriff's Department was called and the determination was made that the Milwaukee Bomb Squad respond to the location to check out the device."

Retzer employees were evacuated while the Bomb Squad investigates.
