Absentee ballots are adding up
MILWAUKEE - City clerk's offices in Milwaukee and Madison are working the holiday weekend, including Memorial Day Monday, handing out absentee ballots to voters.
Voters have until May 31st to request an absentee ballot by mail. In-person absentee voting continues until Friday, June 1 at 5 p.m.
So far, more than 113-thousand Wisconsin residents have requested absentee ballots.
Republican Governor Scott Walker faces democrat Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in the June 5th recall elections.
It's take two for the two to face each other.
Back in the November 2010 gubernatorial election, Walker defeated Barrett and more than 230-thousand votes were cast.
