Dog walker spots cougar in West Bend park
WEST BEND- The Washington County sheriff's office is looking into a report of a cougar spotted in Ridge Run County Park.
A person walking their dog saw the cougar, described to be the size of a Labrador Retriever, walking across a trail about 100 feet in front of that person, according to a news release.
The animal was reportedly not aggressive towards the witness.
The Washington County sheriff's office and the Department of Natural Resources were unable to locate any signs of the animal.
