MILWAUKEE - A group upset with conservative talk radio programs is threatening legal action against WTMJ radio.

The Media Action Center says conservative talk shows on WTMJ radio give too much time to Gov. Walker supporters and very little time to supporters of Democrat Tom Barrett.

The group's Andrew Rogers says the station is violating the Zapple Doctrine.

"We're expecting the station to comply (with the law)," Rogers said.  "If they don't, we'll threaten legal action."

The group is also asking the Federal Communications Commission to intervene, Rogers said.

Journal Broadcast Group Executive V.P. Steve Wexler isn't concerned.

"All broadcasters are aware of the FCC rules," Wexler said.  "We're quite confident our understanding (of the rules) and compliance with them are excellent."
