Kenosha man charged with murder in stabbing death case
KENOSHA - A man from Kenosha has been charged with first-degree murder in the case of the stabbing death of a woman in that city on Monday.
Johnny Young, 37, faces the charge involving the death of Christine Saucier at her home on 26th Avenue in the City of Kenosha.
Young faces a sentence of up to life in prison if he is convicted.
According to the criminal complaint, Young told police he went to Saucier's home on Monday morning to do, among other things, "smoke crack cocaine with her."
The complaint cites that at one point, Young said "Saucier had his crack cocaine inside a potato chip bag and was 'scrunching' the bag and would not give the cocaine back to him."
He then said in the complaint that he stabbed her in the neck more than one time.
Young was to appear Tuesday afternoon in a courtroom in Kenosha.
