POLK - A man from Janesville has been seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash in Washington County.

It happened very early Sunday morning in the town of Polk on Highway 45.

Sheriff's Deputies say Nathan Roush, who's 29, rear-ended a car driving in front of him and was thrown into the highway median.

He wasn't wearing a helmet.

Officials say alcohol and speed contributed to the crash.

The two people in the car weren't hurt.
