Walker talks about 250,000 jobs
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Renewing a campaign promise, Governor Scott Walker says the private-sector will see an additional 250,000 new jobs in the next three years in the private sector.
Walker told those in attendance at the State GOP Convention Saturday in Green Bay that a weak economy has made this committment even more challening, but he says he can still meet that promise if he serves a full term as governor.
Walker faces a recall election June 5th.
His opponent is Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
