State GOP convention speakers focus on June 5
GREEN BAY- The State Republican Convention taking place in Green Bay is not the first game of the season.
That will come June 5th, says U.S. Rep. Reid Ribble.
Ribble, like many others attending the convention Saturday, said the focus must be on the June 5th recall election, to be certain it fails.
U.S. Senator Ron Johnson urged voters to stay focused on a win for Governor Walker, because he said, a loss could send a terrible message to the rest of the country about Wisconsin.
U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan also took the podium Saturday morning, saying "courage is on the ballot" in the recall election.
In Ryan's words, "June 5, that's the day we save Wisconsin. Nov. 6, that's the day Wisconsin saves America."
The jobs of Governor Scott Walker, Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and four state senators are on the line in the June recall election.
