MADISON- Governor Walker, in a battle to keep his job here at the Capitol, toured a family-owned steel manufacturing plant just outside Madison.

The governor visited Endres Manufacturing in Waunakee -- getting his hands on a Bucky Badger steel cutout, then cutting into recall election opponent Tom Barrett.

"Tom Barrett will take us backward in a very different direction," said Walker.  "He'll make it harder for small businesses, harder for manufacturers, harder for ag based businesses to grow."

Sam Ballweg is part of the family that owns this company.  He says business is better since Walker took office.  "Our business has recovered in the last two years.  We've done much better.  Whether or not he's been a part of that I can't say for sure," said Sam Ballweg of Endres Manufacturing.

Marquette University's Amber Wichowsky sees a month long Barrett-Walker race focused on jobs.  "Both sides will be spinning the economic story to their benefit," argued Wichowsky.
