Falk: 'Don't count me out' of Democratic gubernatorial recall primary

MILWAUKEE - A new poll finds Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett with a substantial lead in the Democratic primary for Governor next week.
That means former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk has a lot of ground to make up if she's going to win next week.
"Don't count me out in the next five days," she claimed on TODAY'S TMJ4's Live at Daybreak.
"What I have behind me is this huge coalition that's gotten us this million signatures, women, environmentalists, teachers, community organizers that went door to door to get those million signatures, they're out there doing that for me."
Falk claims the pundits has consistently been wrong about predictions during the entire process. Despite trailing Barrett, she's focusing attacks on Governor Walker.
One of her main platforms involves the way she would bring a restoration of previously rolled-back collective bargaining rights for many government union members.
She has said she would refuse to sign any budget without that as part of it.
"The only way to restore collective bargaining is through a budget bill. That's why Governor Walker eliminated it that way," said Falk.
"No other candidate has a better way than what I've offered. It's the only way."
Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald (R-Horicon) told TODAY'S TMJ4's Vince Vitrano that any budget with a plan to restore previously rolled-back collective bargaining rights for public union employees would be dead on arrival.
