Paul Ryan to hold listening sessions around Milwaukee area
MUSKEGO, Wis. (AP) -- U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan is beginning two days of listening sessions in his southeastern Wisconsin district.
The Republican been widely whispered about as a potential running mate to presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
His office says he'll visit Muskego, Elkhorn and Kenosha on Thursday and Janesville, Mount Pleasant and Greendale on Friday.
In a statement, Ryan says the sessions provide him an opportunity to discuss the major legislative proposals before Congress, answer questions and address concerns among residents.
He's also expected to talk about solutions to balancing the federal budget.
