MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police detectives were back on the scene of a deadly shooting near 48th and Wright.Russell Setum was shot to death early Sunday morning.Just before 4 A.M.gunshots filled the air.
Eqaunis Salinis came out to find his friend Setum bleeding. "I saw him laying here. I saw his mama she was leaking blood so I helped her out she said somebody robbed him. They shot him," explained Salinis.
Friends say Setum was dropping off his SUV at his mother's house when two men jumped out of a car, pulled out guns and car jacked the 24 year-old.
Setum's mother had just stepped onto the back porch to get his car keys. She begged the gunman to spare her son's life.
"To kill a mother's child while she's begging and pleading for his life...for them not to shoot him it's absolutely cold hearted," said Nikki Cruz, Setum's cousin.
Cruz says her aunt was shot in the foot when the gunman shot at the mother too. "They just don't care. I think the only reason they shot his mother is because she was a witness but thank God she made it back into the house." said Salinis.
Cruz said she was thankful her aunt did not come outside back yard. "I think we would have had a double funeral this week if she would have come out. I honestly think they would have taken her life too," said Cruz.
Setum worked as a tattoo artist. He was known as "Tattoo Russ" and had recently purchased the 1998 Red GMC Yukon. Police were back on the scene Monday looking for clues. They do not have anyone in
