Court for alleged 'obituary burglar' in Sheboygan
SHEBOYGAN - A man charged with stealing from grieving families was set to appear in a Sheboygan courtroom on Thursday.
Dennis Petrie is known as Sheboygan County's alleged "obituary burglar."
Investigators say Petrie picked his victims through obituaries and estate sale ads.
He allegedly found people who were said to be going to funerals, then reportedly stole items from their homes.
