Man recovering from shooting on Milwaukee's north side
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police say that a man was recovering Thursday from injuries after a shooting on the city's north side.
The shooting happened at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night near the corner of North 1st Street and West Concordia avenue.
Police believe the 23-year-old man should survive his injuries.
They say detectives were trying to figure out the circumstances that led to the shooting.
There was no word on whether they were searching for a suspect, or whether they had a suspect in custody.
