Two Milwaukee Police officers injured in head-on crash

MILWAUKEE - Two Milwaukee Police officers were injured early Sunday morning when an SUV driven by a suspected drunk driver slammed into their squad at the intersection of 16th St. and North Ave.
The two officers were responding to a call when the SUV hit a parked car, swerved into oncoming traffic, and struck the squad head-on.
Both officers were taken to the hospital and are now recovering from minor injures.
