Waukesha humane society searching for donkey's owner
WAUKESHA - Officials with the Humane Animal Welfare Society have a missing donkey on their hands. The donkey was found wandering a busy highway.
It appears the donkey has no name -- but he certainly has a new family at the shelter -- since he was found wandering the streets.
People also like him -- dropping by to say hello; they're also concerned about the donkey's lack of a permanent home.
Mark Hess wrangled the donkey after a call from the sheriff's department. The small donkey had been loose for several hours -- found walking along Highway 59.
TODAY'S TMJ4 reports that the humane society will continue looking for the donkey's owner. If they can't find them -- he will be put up for adoption.
