LA CROSSE- The trial of a man accused of killing his parents at their western Wisconsin home has been delayed again.

The La Crosse Tribune reports that Eric Kola's trial was to begin April 11, but it was pushed back Wednesday to June 4.

The defense wants its expert to examine fingerprints found on a letter Koula received the week after his parents' death. The letter said only "fixed u." Prosecutors have suggested he sent himself the letter. Koula's attorneys say further examination of it may exclude him or identify who sent it.

Dennis and Merna Koula were shot to death May 21, 2010, in their Town of Barre home.

Authorities contend the 42-year-old struggling West Salem day trader killed them for the inheritance. He denies a role in the killings.
