Fire at hazardous materials facility in Menomonee Falls, 1 injured
MENOMONEE FALLS - Fire crews from the Menomonee Falls Fire Department are fighting a fire at a recycling center in that city. That fire led to at least one injury.
The fire is happening at the Veolia Haz Mat Recycling Center on the 9300 block of North Boundry Road near 124th Street.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Jermont Terry said one worker was injured when a barrel carrying chemicals started to leak and caught fire. He was treated on the scene.
The fire started before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Areas around the fire scene have been blocked off from traffic.
Chopper 4 showed video of people working in hazardous materials suits on scene.
