MILWAUKEE- Human remains have been discovered at McGovern Park on Milwaukee's north side.

According to Milwaukee Fire Battalion Chief Ralph Gallow, they found "significantly decomposed human remains" at McGovern Park.  Authorities say a USDA worker was in the process of treating goose eggs when he discovered the remains.

Milwaukee police, fire, and the sheriff's department and medical examiner are on the scene.

It is believed the human remains were there for months and found on a densely wooded, small island.

Authorities do not have any indications for cause of death, or the gender of the remains.  They did find some clothing and jewelry near the remains.
