Ron Paul plans campaign stop in Milwaukee Thursday
MADISON, Wis. - As the days close in on the April 3rd presidential primary in Wisconsin, Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul of Texas plans to campaign in Madison next week.
Paul's is scheduled to hold a town hall-style meeting Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
On Saturday, opponent Rick Santorum spoke at the Wyndham Hotel in Milwaukee, and then planned to stop in Sheboygan, Green Bay, Fond du Lac and Racine later in the weekend.
The polls so far put Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, as the front runner in the Wisconsin primary. Romney is expected to make his first appearance in the state on March 31st in Milwaukee.
Meanwhile, former Speaker Newt Gingrich has yet to schedule any Wisconsin visits.
