Tickets on sale for world premiere of Honor Flight documentary at Miller Park
MILWAUKEE - Organizers of the Honor Flight program in Wisconsin have announced that tickets are on sale for the world premiere of the new documentary that reveals the experiences of World War II veterans seeing their monument in Washington, D.C.
The premiere will happen during the "Field of Honor" salute to "The Greatest Generation" at Miller Park on August 11th.
Parking lots have been scheduled to open at 3:30 p.m. People can tailgate in the Miller Park parking lots.
The stadium has been set to open at 4:30 p.m. with special viewing of the Pillars of Honor WWII Memorial Model Open House.
Navy Seals will skydive into Miller Park at 6:30 p.m. before the start of the movie on the Miller Park center field scoreboard.
After the movie, a flyover and fireworks are scheduled.
"This would be a great opportunity for Honor Flight alumni to celebrate this event that the community has embraced with their whole heart," said Renee Riddle of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
