Suspect in Jan. 1 hit-and-run OWI crash to undergo another mental exam

MILWAUKEE - A suspect will undergo another mental health exam in the case of an alleged drunk driving hit-and-run crash with a stolen car that killed a couple from New Berlin.

Kelly Duke appeared in a Milwaukee courtroom on Monday, where that ruling was made.

The deadly crash happened New Years' Day near the corner of North 27th Street and West St. Paul Avenue.

Duke faces two charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, two charges of homicide by use of vehicle with PAC, hit-and-run involving death, and knowingly operating while suspended and causing great bodily harm, along with one charge of taking and driving a vehicle without consent.
