ABBOTSFORD - A firefighter from the town of Colby in central Wisconsin has died.
The firefighter died after sustaining injuries, along with three other firefighters, when they were hurt during a fire that raged for several hours at the Abby Theater in Abbotsford. The four were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield after the roof collapsed.
The firefighter died at the hospital.
The theater opened back in 1949.
About 35 firefighters from four different departments were there.
The victim's name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
