Friday's commute slowed down by winter storm
BROOKFIELD- Friday's winter storm hit in the middle of the rush hour.
For drivers, the hassle really depended on where you were going. After a long work day, Andy Backes cleaned off his car at the State Fair Park & Ride. He was on the road in the middle of rush hour
"Freeway was OK up (I-)43 from Parkside area, but everyone was going slow, 35 40 miles an hour," said Backes.
A woman named Judy rode the bus to the Park & Ride. "The bus got stuck twice, had to reverse and go," said Judy.
It was tough going for some on the roads Friday, but when TODAY'S TMJ4 hit I-94 westbound at 5:30 p.m. -- there wasn't much traffic.
Justin Munsch -- doesn't have that option. He's making airport runs for the Milwaukee-Brookfield Sheraton. "People took the advice and they're staying home," said Munsch.
He is supposed to make another airport run at midnight -- and those visitors get to experience Wisconsin -- in March.
