KENOSHA- Kenosha County saw snow mix with the wet road condition and cause problems Friday afternoon and evening. Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth gave his latest updates on their roads to Newsradio 620 WTMJ.

"It has gone from OK to terrible right now.  We have accidents, all of our squads are tied up.  You have to take a number and there really isn't a road that isn't white right now," said Sheriff Beth around 5 p.m. Friday.

"The interstate right now, we have at least four accidents on the interstate. Two of them going northbound, one at highway C and one at Highway 50.  And at least two of them southbound, one at Highway 142 and Highway 158."

Sheriff Beth said the roads deteriorated a bit -- particularly ones just west of the highways.

He said the average speeds on the highways throughout most of Friday afternoon had dropped to about 40 miles per hour. If you are driving in that area right now, he recommended, "Right now you have to use your winter driving skills and be careful."
