Soybean spill forces highway closure
BELLE PLAINE, Wis. (AP) -- It wasn't the snow, but soybean meal that created a highway hazard in Shawano County.
About 26 tons of soybean meal spilled Thursday afternoon when a semi rolled over on Highway 29 in the town of Belle Plaine. Sheriff's officials say the Crivitz man driving the semi had some sort of medical condition that caused the crash.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette (http://gbpg.net/x2fNls ) says traffic was rerouted for about three hours.
