Mayoral primaries include Milwaukee, Wauwatosa
MILWAUKEE - Voters will get the first of at least four opportunities during 2012 to go to the ballot box in various races.
The prime race involves the Sheboygan mayoral recall election, where incumbent Bob Ryan faces two-time challenger Terry Van Akkeren.
Mayoral primaries also happen in Milwaukee, Oak Creek, St. Francis and Wauwatosa.
Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. across the state.
Tuesday also brings the first election with the new Voter ID law.
Voters will have to bring a valid photo identification in order to vote.
Your driver license or passport will work, along with one of seven other types of identification.
