Milwaukee Police arrest Auto Zone robbers
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police say they have arrested two men whom they believe were involved in an armed robbery at an Auto Zone on the city's northwest side.
The robbery happened at about 8;20 p.m. Tuesday night at the location on the 6300 block of West Capitol Drive.
Detectives followed up their investigation with a visit to a home near the corner of North 39th and West Galena Streets.
Police say that tactical enforcement unit officers then made the arrests.
A police spokeswoman said it was too early to tell if there was any connection between this robbery and a robbery earlier in 2012 at an Auto Zone location on North 24th Street and West North Avenue.
