Senate candidate Thompson to speak at Marquette
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Former Gov. Tommy Thompson will be speaking at Marquette University this week.
He's running for U.S. Senate and is expected to talk about what is driving his decision to run and the current political climate in Washington D.C. and Wisconsin.
Thompson was elected governor of Wisconsin four times. He was also health and human services secretary in the administration of President George Bush.
He'll be speaking Thursday afternoon in Eckstein Hall.
