WEST BEND- Things are becoming slick here in Washington County.  The Washington County Sheriff's Department is reporting many spin outs in the county.

On Main Street, there are several people taking it slowly.  TODAY'S TMJ4 has seen many salt trucks out too.

Not too much of a surprise, but the snow is piling up on the cars too.  People making a quick stop were forced to pull out snow scrapers.  West Bend hasn't seen that many accidents, but Washington County has seen its share, according to TODAY'S TMJ4's Jermont Terry.

The snow isn't just a hassle for many in the area, they are glad they can finally use their winter weather equipment.

"I have like three ice scrapers and two snow brushes," said Kelsey Whitlock.

The constant snow shower slowed traffic down and Wayne Krejcarek was on the roads Thursday.  He told TODAY'S TMJ4, "The roads are getting slippery, they are greasy so it's going to get a lot worse."

Over at the Ace Hardware on Main Street folks are stocking up.  Todd Tennes was at Ace Hardware and he told TODAY'S TMJ4, "We've been waiting on this snowfall for the last six weeks I can't believe it's finally here."
