MILWAUKEE - Wednesday brings the 70th anniversary of one of the greatest disasters in American history, the bombing of Hawaii's Pearl Harbor by Japanese planes.

That event brought American into the Second World War, a war they eventually joined in winning after the sacrifice of millions of Americans, British, Soviet and other allies' military members.

Newsradio 620 WTMJ and TODAY'S TMJ4 have done many stories about local heroes connected to World War II and Pearl Harbor, along with opportunities to visit the memorial there.
