MILWAUKEE - Tuesday may be a day to secure any lawn furniture or other outside objects before you leave for work if you live in a county by the lake.

A wind advisory has been issued, effective now until 12:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, for Milwaukee, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Racine and Sheboygan Counties.

"Strong low pressure situated just to our South will spread clouds into our region today.  That combined with high pressure off to the West will send our winds soaring with gusts to 40 miles per hour," explained Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.

"The wind will continue to howl tonight as the ridge builds closer helping to clear out our skies."

Steele says Wednesday should bring sun with calmer winds, but snow may show up later in the week.

"There's some early indication of a compact disturbance which could produce a bit of snowfall Thursday night, though the ingredients for that are still just forming."
