MILWAUKEE - People in Milwaukee will have a chance to get into the Christmas spirit Saturday at a downtown event that's turned into a yearly November tradition.

The 85th annual Milwaukee Holiday Parade will start at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the corner of North Astor Street and East Kilbourn Avenue.

The parade route will then go west on Kilbourn to North 3rd Street, then finish in front of The Shops of Grand Avenue near North 3rd and West Wisconsin Avenue.

Both Newsradio 620 WTMJ and TODAY'S TMJ4 will take part in the festivities.

TODAY'S TMJ4's Susan Kim and Vince Vitrano will ride in the parade, along with Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Gene Mueller and Andi Miller.

(As Vince Vitrano put it, "please come anyway.")

Giant balloons, parade floats, marching bands and Santa Claus will all join in.

Volunteers from Johnson Controls will go along the parade route to collect food for the Hunger Task Force's Food for Families campaign.
