MILWAUKEE- "People are frustrated. They want to be heard, and they want to get their message across," said organizer Khalil Coleman.

Several different unions and community groups are coming together to hold their own version of "Occupy Wall Street" right here in Milwaukee.

"The message is universal. I think you are seeing a new awareness by a lot of people," said Joe Shansky from Voces de la Frontera.

They say they are fighting against corporate greed and politicians who have allowed big companies to get wealthier.

"There's massive economic inequality right now. A lot of people are suffering, and something needs to change fast," Shansky said.

The group will meet at Zeidler Park at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, then walk over to Chase Bank and Wells Fargo.

"Criminal tape up around the big banks. They are on trial for not representing the interests of the people," Coleman said.

Coleman says while he knows police will be present, he expects it to be a peaceful protest.

"Everything is expected to be peaceful.  It is a peaceful demonstration, but it is setting the tone that there can be some civil disobedience," Coleman said.

While no one knows how many will show up for the protest, the Milwaukee Police Department is preparing for big crowds.

"If there are people attaching themselves to this demonstration who want to act out in a negative way, I'm counting on members of the demonstration to at least disavow them if not stop them," said Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn.
