Fans react to Brewers win
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers took another step closer to the World Series in game one!
"Three more games until the World Series," said Brewers fans Lisa Kortebein.
The countdown has begun for Brewers Fans at the Three Lions Pub in Shorewood. Three more wins and the Brewers are in. Owners David Price and Chris Tinker are planning a road trip to see the Brew Crew to St. Louis.
"We've been watching the Brewers since we moved to Milwaukee, said owner david price. We are big fans and it's a good opportunity for the boys to take a trip."
There's lots of playoff tickets on line.
As of Sunday night, StubHub had 5600 tickets for game two in Milwaukee starting at $47. Ticket King's starting price was $59 Sunday night.
Game three in St. Louis will most probably cost you more.
Sunday evening, StubHub had 4900 tickets starting $105 dollars for a seat. Prices started at $119 at Ticket King.
Price and Tinker don't have tickets yet. "We will get in," said Ticker, 'if we get down there we will get in."
On line Hotel prices checked in at $100 a quarter of a mile from Busch Stadium.
$219 was the cheapest round trip ticket we found on line Sunday night. Amtrak would get you there and back for $102. Driving to St. Louis is 380 miles one way or six hours.
Many of the listed prices above could change at any moment.
What ever mode of transportation they take, Price and Tinker plan on being in beast mode.
If there is a game six and seven in Milwaukee expect ticket prices to go higher.
