Report: Sheboygan mayor's votes lead to approval of new jobs to lessen his role
SHEBOYGAN - Sheboygan Mayor Bob Ryan gave two tie-breaking votes to push approval by the Sheboygan Common Council of the creation of positions which would take away many of the duties Ryan currently has as mayor.
According to the Sheboygan Press, Jim Amodeo will take the role of City Administrator. He is currently the finance director.
His second in command in that department, Nancy Buss, is set to take the role of City Treasurer.
The Common Council has begun an effort to use a special prosecutor and try to remove Ryan from his role of mayor after multiple drunken incidents in area taverns.
