Letter with allegations against Sheboygan mayor Ryan left unsigned
SHEBOYGAN - A letter left for a Sheboygan alderman could help build the case for the removal of the city's alcoholic mayor, if the author is willing to come forward.
Alderman Scott Versey found the letter on his desk a couple weeks ago.
According to the Sheboygan Press, the author alleges nearly criminal behavior by Mayor Bob Ryan, but the letter was not signed, so Versey is asking the author to come forward.
Versey would not go into detail about the content of the letter, only saying it would help build the case against Ryan.
The common council decided to pursue Ryan's removal after he went on a three-day public drinking binge in Elkhart Lake this past summer.
