Sheboygan mayor to hold news conference on Tuesday
SHEBOYGAN - Sheboygan's mayor, embattled in a struggle to keep his job amidst calls for his resignation, will hold a news conference later on Tuesday at City Hall.
The mayor's office has confirmed that the news conference will happen, but has not detailed what Mayor Bob Ryan will say.
He has been embroiled in controversy over a number of incidents involving public drunken behavior, while the city also settled a lawsuit with a former employee who claimed that he committed sexual harassment against her.
The city has begun the process of trying to remove him, hiring former U.S. Attorney Steven Biskupic as a special prosecutor.
TODAY'S TMJ4, Newsradio 620 WTMJ and this web site will carry the news conference live at 4:45 p.m.
