  1. We used to live at 77th and Capitol. Used to. Affordable and comfortable house. Crime ridden neighborhood. That about says it all. Sad that so much of Milwaukee has been ruined. :(
  2. We lived on 38th and Silver Spring. It was a quiet neighborhood and people kept up their houses. When you take away decent paying jobs with good benefits, you get chaos, dysfunction and the loss of pride.
  3. Sir, both sets of my grandparents never had "decent paying jobs with benefits." They raised 10 children between the two couples. Never once did they riot, steal loot or kill. They had something money can't buy: moral character.
  4. OvertheRainbow: Why are you such an apologist for the super wealthy? Why would you assume that the trials and tribulations that your grandparents suffered should be the norm? Sharing the wealth is a moral thing to do too.
