Missing toddler found safe
GERMANTOWN - A toddler who was kidnapped by his mother Thursday has been found safe, the Germantown Police Department said.
Colton J. Schneider, 21 months, was allegedly abducted by his mother, who has no parental rights.
Kimberly M Multerer, 21, was arrested after a driver in Menomonee Falls spotted her car Thursday afternoon.
"The child's guardian is his grandmother," said Germantown Police Chief Peter Hoell. "The mother had a visitation with the child today."
"The mother called the grandmother stating that she will never see her or her grandson ever again. The mother has no known address and is believed to be a substance abuser. The mother also has a history of domestic violence."
She is now being held on suspicion of kidnapping.
