WAUKESHA - Not all local leaders are singing doom and gloom, as reaction from west of 124th Street is positive to Governor Walker's budget plans.

Republican Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas says he's going to be able to shoulder the cuts Governor Walker's budget would force on his county.

"There are a lot of tools that will give local governments, schools, cities, counties the kind of tools that we've been asking for for years in order to manage in difficult economic times," claims Vrakas on Newsradio 620 WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News."

Vrakas says he thinks the budget will be good for his county, but he admits there will probably be reductions as government gets leaner in Wisconsin.
