MILWAUKEE - People driving on Milwaukee's south side found snow-covered roads as salt trucks and plows attempted to clear the streets.

Among those who had to fight the snowy conditions was a delivery driver who worked through most of the overnight going into Tuesday, where he has class during the day.

"I have school at 8:00 a.m. at MATC, and then I have to come here at work at 5:00 a.m. to close the store," said Nathan Kirk, a delivery driver at a south side pizza restaurant.

"It was pretty intense.  The roads were pretty slick.  The snow was kind of slushy.  Things could be a little rough."

That's what most people experienced on the roads as Monday night became Tuesday, which actually makes things even busier than normal for pizza places.

"Busy.  Nobody wanted to cook.  Everybody wanted to order.  It was a good night," said Nathan.

"We were quoting times as 45 minutes to an hour for everybody to get their food."
