MILWAUKEE - People planning on flying into and out of Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport are encountering problems with the snowstorm.
Many flights have already been canceled through tomorrow.
Most flights were not getting in and out of Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, but crews were working to try to stay ahead of the storm.
"The airport will stay open, that way any passengers who do get stuck have a place to stay," said Mitchell International Airport spokesman Ryan McAdams on Newsradio 620 WTMJ.
"They'll be working hard to try to stay up through the storm, to keep those runways clear so when the airlines are ready to resume flights, we're ready for them."
It's not just bad weather, but stranded planes that are delaying flights here and across the country, and causing stranded travelers.
"It always takes some time after a storm like this to get all the aircraft back in place."
"Everybody from the airlines to the airports, they'll all be working hard to get people where they're going, especially those Packers fans down to Dallas."
